The Hockey Access Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This page explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the terms that apply when you use the site or donate to us.

Privacy policy
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we receive the information you enter. Depending on the form, this may include:
- Contact and volunteer forms: your name, email address, phone number, volunteer interests and your message.
- Nomination (Sponsor) form: your name and contact details, and the nominated child’s name, contact details, mailing address and the reasons you believe they would benefit from our program.
- Equipment donations: your contact details and a description of the items you would like to donate.
- Monetary donations: your name, contact details and gift amount. Card and bank details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored on this website.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use cookies and analytics tools (including Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive here. This information is aggregated and helps us improve the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How we use your information
- To review nominations and contact families about equipment, rentals and registration support.

Children’s information
Our programs serve young players, so our nomination form asks adults for information about a child. This website is intended for use by adults; we ask that children under 13 not submit information themselves. Information about a nominated child is used only to evaluate and deliver program support, is shared only with Foundation volunteers and board members who need it, and is never used for marketing. A parent or guardian may contact us to review, correct or remove their child’s information.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (for example our website host, form and email tools and payment processor), with local hockey programs when needed to arrange a scholarship registration for a family that has asked for our help, or when required by law.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required for nonprofit record-keeping and tax purposes. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by reaching out through our contact page.

Our site links to other websites, such as Facebook and Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Monetary donations
Donations support the Foundation’s charitable mission, including registration scholarships, equipment maintenance, storage and community events. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you believe a donation was made in error, contact us promptly.
Equipment donations
Donated equipment becomes the property of the Foundation. We inspect, clean and repair items before use, and may recycle, pass along or dispose of items that don’t meet our safety standards. Because every item is evaluated individually, we can’t guarantee how or where a particular donation will be used.
Nominations and program support
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee equipment, rental or scholarship support. Support depends on available resources, program eligibility and our review. Rental equipment should be returned in the condition received, allowing for normal wear.
Photos and content
Text, logos and images on this site belong to the Foundation or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them. We will not publish photos of a child without permission from a parent or guardian.
